Terms and Conditions for the purchase of imported vehicles from the European Union, supplied by LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk.

A. Order

A1. All orders are subject to acceptance by us which is dependent upon the availability of the vehicle being ordered, price confirmation, and cleared funds of your deposit.
A.2 If you wish to purchase the car of your choice, you should read and sign the purchase order form and return to LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk. By signing and returning the purchase order form you agree to purchase the vehicle of the detailed specifications provided, in accordance with these terms and conditions. You must provide a copy of your passport or photo driving licence so that your details will be entered into the manufacturers database for warranty purposes.

B.Prices

B.1 The prices quoted include VAT at 17.5%, delivery to our Southampton depot, number plates, 12 months road fund licence and first registration fee.
B.2 LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk reserves the right to change the price before it accepts any order.
B.3 Prices on the web site are for information purposes and do not constitute an offer by us capable of an acceptance by you.The price you pay is the price quoted to you at the time of acceptance of your order.
B.4 In the event that any of our vehicles are no longer available, LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk shall have the right to refuse to accept anyorder from you.

C. Deposit

C.1 A deposit of between 10-12% will be required by LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk depending on the price of the vehicle you are ordering.

D.Payment

D.1 Payment of the deposit can be made by personal cheque or by bank transfer.
D.2 Payment of the balance due on the vehicle must be made as agreed with LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk. It can be made by Banktransfer, Bank Draft or personal cheque (which has to clear before the car is released)
D.3 You will have to advise us if we are to receive final payment from a third party.

E. Collection/Registration

E.1 Prior to your car arriving in the UK, we will ask you to send us the following original documents for the purpose of registering the car in your name.
(1) Passport or photo driving licence (original documents)
(2) Two utility bills namely Electricity, Gas, Water, Bank Statement for proof of address as required by the DVLA.
(3) An original insurance cover note based on the chassis number of the car. These documents have to be sent by registered post (signed for) and they will be returned either in the same manner or given to you personally on collection of the car.

E.2 LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk will contact you to arrange for you, to collect the vehicle from our depot in Southampton.

E.3 On collection of the vehicle you will be required to sign an inspection sheet confirming that you have inspected the vehicle and that it complies with the specification detailed in the purchase order form and that the vehicle is undamaged. If any of the foregoing is incorrect, you will inform LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk immediately. We will require you to detail any discrepancy on the inspection sheet in which case the following will apply:-

If the vehicle is damaged you will have the option to :
a. Reject the vehicle and receive a full refund.
b. Have the vehicle repaired free of charge in which case we will inform you of an alternative date for delivery.
c. If the vehicle does not meet the specification detailed in the purchase order form, we will refund the monies in full or re-order the correct vehicle and arrange an alternative date for delivery.

E.4 The vehicles supplied by LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk are not pre-registered and you will be recorded as the first owner of the V5/logbook.

E.5 We will make every effort to deliver the vehicle on the delivery date specified in the purchase order. However, delays will occasionally occur and time shall not be the essence of this contract. The company shall not be liable for any damage or loss (including consequential loss) incurred by you or any third party arising directly or indirectly out of any failure on the company's behalf to meet the estimated delivery time.

F. Cancellation of Orders

F.1 If you cancel your order outside of the clause F.4 you acknowledge that LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk will claim the cost of unrecoverable extras fitted to the vehicle, and any reduction in the value of the vehicle. LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk will be entitled to use the deposit and any prepayment to reduce its reasonable losses.

F.2 You shall only have the right to cancel your order if there is a delay in delivery exceeding 5 weeks from the date specified in the purchase order form. If you wish to cancel your order under the provisions of this clause you must notify the company in writing. If we do not receive such written notification the company shall be entitled to regard this as a waiver of your right of cancellation.

F.3 In the event that the Company can source an alternative purchaser for the vehicle our reasonable administration and storage charges will be limited to a maximum of £1,000.00.

F.4 Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your use of our services without charge, therefore the above sub clauses will not apply. This cancellation right ends on the expiry of the 7th day on receiving the car. You will be required to arrange transport delivery at a cost to yourselves to our depot in Southampton and take reasonable care of the vehicle prior to this. When the vehicle is received, you must provide us with all keys, registration documentation, optional extras, equipment accessories and all other documentation and paperwork supplied with the Vehicle. If the car has suffered any damage which was not caused by us, you accept there will be an appropriate reduction in the amount of money to be returned to you or if the car has been ordered to your specifications or clearly personalised. Please note a further reduction will apply if the vehicle has exceeded 50 miles or more than what is recorded on the handover checklist.

G. Governing Law

G.1 These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The parties hereby submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

H. Statutory Rights

H.1 Your statutory rights including any rights you have as a consumer are not affected by anything in these terms and conditions. Third party rights under the Contracts (Rights against Third Parties) Act 1999 are hereby excluded.

LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk is committed to customer service. Should you have any complaint about the LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk service, LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk is committed to resolving complaints in a fair and effective manner.

Please inform LuxuryCarsOnline.co.uk by email should you have any complaint about our service. We are committed to acknowledging your complaint within 48 hours of receipt and undertaking all reasonable efforts to resolving it promptly under the circumstances. We will provide you with a time scale for resolving the dispute and keep you regularly updated with respect to our progress.
