Mercedes-Benz has improved the SLK over its predecessor; it's now a proper sports car with the famous badge. There are four engines available, a 1.8 litre supercharged unit (SLK200), the 3.0 litre V6 (SLK280), a 3.5 litre V6 (SLK350) and the super fast SL55 AMG with the 5.4 litre petrol engine. The standard six-speed manual transmission is standard on all models except the SL55 which has the 7 speed automatic gearbox.
All cars are fitted with air conditioning and various sports themed trimmings both inside and out, and of course the electrically operated folding hard top roof.
